CASE STUDY 1: Computer Operator suffers from lower back, neck and shoulder pain.

• Prolonged sitting and use of computer up to 8 hours per day.
• Poor posture.

• Frequent use of telephone, tendency to cradle headset.
• Busy office environment, noise and stress issues.
• Position of chair - high relative to desk.
• Position of computer - low relative to eye level.

ASSESSMENT: QUALITY OF SITTING

RATING: POOR

1. High level of stress in the musclo skeletal system due to 'hunch back and turtle neck' posture.
2. Compressional forces in musclo skeletal system, high contributing factor to back, neck and shoulder pain.
3. Practice The 5 minute Workout™ at the desk to unload and decompress the spine for improved quality of sitting and sitting endurance.

JUSTIFICATION
